About Me: Keegan Brown

After 5 years as a Marketing Director, I decided to pursue a career as a pilot.

It's a big decision to dive into this career field, and people make that decision at different points in their lives. My goal was to quickly, proficiently, and affordably get the necessary ratings to get paid to fly (to support my aforementioned family asap). Through extensive research, discussions, and trial and error, I'm pleased to say I made it happen. From 0 hours to CFI took me 14 months, and I saved a lot of money by avoiding the big flight schools. It is very doable to handle training on your schedule with online courses and independent instruction, and I'd love to show you how.

I simply think flying is the coolest thing out there. Of all the humans that ever lived, we're fortunate enough to live in a time where flight is practical, safe, and accessible. We get to be among the small number of people to do what others only dreamed of - soar through the sky and go wherever we want to go.
